Holiday Village detailed planning applicationIn 2010 the outline application was allowed (see below). SW Water have now submitted a more detailed application which includes the design of the houses, their location and so on.

Turbine near Roadford to go aheadPlanning permission to erect a 67m wind turbine on land of Rexon Cross Farm near Roadford dam has been allowed after appeal to the Planning Inspectorate. 67m is the height of a 24-storey tower block.
Construction of the turbine is now under way. It will be interesting to see how big the blades are.

Roadford Lake holiday villageThe holiday village will be built above this inlet. There are still some matters, such as the safe disposal of sewage, to be sorted out before construction can begin.
